Hi. I'm here for a quick how to video on using tags in CRM.
When you're on a record, we have a tags widget, which if you haven't already added, it's available from the add widget option in the top right.
And on the records with that tag widget, can create new tags or you can drag one in from the tag cloud, which can be filtered to just your tags or tags from all users.
But once those tags are added to a record, we'll just make one up here for, like, a summer special that we're having, and we wanna mark this record as interested, such as when we're calling our contacts or even visiting them.
If we learn they're interested in this particular event or special, we can add that tag to their record, ideally by dragging it in if it was already created.
That way we can make sure we're using the specific one.
And then once those are added to multiple records, we can use that tag to navigate to the list of all the contacts or whatever record you're using tags on.
And from there, you can email those contacts so you'll be able to basically send out a blast message to all of them, or you could create a contact list against a tag.
So that's just one other way to bring in a collection of records by a different type of information.
If you don't have an actual attribute field on the record, using tags would allow you to pull those together from the existing tags and then you can use that list just like anywhere else in CRM.
And another use case for those might be through a workflow.
If you look for these records as the tags are added and then maybe add that record to a process, then you can follow it through a process and use other workflows as needed just to help create some automation based on a piece of information other than a field.
That way it's easy for your users to add that, and then you could remove it later from that record if needed.
You could ultimately go to the tag manager section of the admin menu.
And from here, the admins can manage existing tags.
Click on one to see the records that are attached to it.
Or if you remove the tag from the records then you could delete it so that it wouldn't be used later if not applicable.
So I hope this helps.
Be sure to check out our other information and thank you for watching.
