Hi everyone, and welcome to this quick how-to video on how to review a customer account, including their open items.
Today, I’m impersonating one of our salespeople in a training pack. As you can see, we have several standard widgets on the dashboard that allow us to review top customers and other CRM records.
We also have our BI widget available. By clicking on View Full Report, we can open BI and explore more details by drilling down further into the data that powers that widget.
Back in CRM, we can click on one of our accounts to open that specific CRM record.
From there, depending on the widgets you’ve added—using the Add Widget option in the top right—you may have widgets like Open Orders and Open Quotes available.
As you scroll through the record view, these widgets will display ERP orders and quotes pulled in through BI. You can click into those records to view more details, and then navigate into BI for deeper insights such as purchased products and additional account data.
Scrolling back to the top, we have the Account Summary, which is accessible from both the CRM web view and the mobile app.
Using the summary icon, you can view a high-level overview of the account or drill down into specific data points. This provides a quick and easy snapshot, especially useful when preparing for a customer meeting.
We also have a Scorecard option, which opens BI for that specific customer record, allowing you to explore more detailed analytics.
From here, you can drill into various reports and data points to review sales performance, commonly purchased products, and other key insights.
Feel free to give this a try and reach out if you have any questions. Thanks for watching.
