Hi everyone. We're here with a quick how-to video on how to use and view the Action History pane on a record in WhiteCup CRM.
Here we are on a Bill To customer record. We can see there are related records connected to this account.
In the Action History pane, we currently see one item, which appears in red because it is overdue.
If we know there are other related records or additional activity tied to this account—or even if we're unsure—we can use the Relationships toggle to expand the view.
When enabled, this brings in action history from related records, giving us a broader view of activity associated with this account.
We can toggle this option on or off as needed, depending on how much information we want to see.
Within the Action History pane, we also have additional options. We can toggle text on to expand the view and display more detailed information.
We also have hyperlinks to the related records where these actions originate, allowing us to quickly navigate to those records.
Filtering options are available as well. For example, if we only want to see tasks or specific types of activity, we can use the dropdown filter.
The Action History pane includes both completed items and upcoming activities, such as open tasks or future calendar events.
If we’re only interested in upcoming items, we can use filters like incomplete tasks or adjust the date range to focus on a specific timeframe.
As the history grows over time, it can be helpful to use the text search filter. By entering keywords, we can quickly find specific items.
This is especially useful if emails are synced with WhiteCup CRM, as related emails may also appear in the Action History.
Using the search function, we can locate items such as quotes or even specific quote or order numbers based on the text entered.
After applying filters, we can remove them or toggle options off as needed to return to the full view.
Finally, we can take standard actions directly from the pane, such as editing items or marking tasks as complete using the available buttons.
Please give these features a try and feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you for watching.
