Hi everyone. We're here with a quick how-to video on how to view and complete tasks in WhiteCup CRM.
I'm logged in as one of our sales reps, and I have a Task Summary widget on my dashboard. This is a best practice for viewing your tasks and quickly accessing completion options and other details.
You can also access tasks from the module using the toolbox at the top to open the Tasks module for a full view.
Additionally, you can use the My Actions or Housekeeping widget on the right side. If you don’t already have this widget, you can use the Add Widget option at the top of the page to add it to your right column.
Using the Task Summary widget, you can click on a task to view more details or add additional notes if needed.
You may notice tasks appear in red when they are overdue, as shown by the date at the top.
When you’re ready to complete a task, simply click the checkmark. You’ll have the option to add final notes and then mark the task as complete.
Once completed, the task will be closed and no longer appear as an open action.
After saving, you’ll see confirmation that the task was successfully updated, and it will drop off your Task Summary widget.
You can also complete tasks from the Tasks module. By default, you’ll see “My Tasks,” but you can navigate to “All Tasks” using the menu on the left.
Tasks also appear on individual records. After refreshing the page, completed tasks will no longer show in the incomplete view.
If you change your filter to view all tasks, you’ll see completed tasks marked with a green checkmark.
If you're using the Housekeeping widget, you can click on numeric values to jump into filtered views, such as incomplete, overdue, or completed tasks.
This allows you to quickly review your work without opening each individual record.
Be sure to keep your tasks updated and mark them complete as needed. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and thank you for watching.
