Dashboards Overview

The White Cup Solution CRM dashboard is your starting point for all CRM-related activities. The out-of-the-box widget layout offers a simple, customizable display allowing you to re-arrange widgets that work best for you and your organization.

Dashboard Settings

The body of the Dashboard consists of four separate columns. The left (blue pane) and far-right columns contain options and widgets that help you perform daily tasks. The two center columns contain data widgets that define what you want to display, based on your role. You, or your admins, control how each widget is displayed and where they are placed on the dashboard. Use the expand/collapse arrows (<>) in the upper right corner of the dashboard to show or hide the far-right column.

Menu Bar

The menu bar is at the top of the page and includes the following default options; access depends on your role:

• Module Menus – These are the categories for available CRM actions. Hover over the menu/icon to see the name; click to open a drop-down to display the available module options. When you select an option, additional functions display in the left navigation pane.
• Search Field – The Global Search Field allows you to search the entire system for information related to your role.
• Profile – The Profile drop-down menu (from your username) allows you to manage profile-related preferences.
• Notification Counter – The notification counter (bell icon) displays the total number of notifications you have. Click the number to display the notifications.
• Show/Hide Toggle – The show/hide toggle (arrow) allows you to display/hide the right column on the dashboard.
• Add Widget Link – When selected, the add widget link displays the remaining widgets available for use.

Dashboard Left Column

On the left side of the Dashboard, you will find the first of four columns. This column is static, and its default view displays all actions available for your Profile. When you select a Module on the Menu Bar across the top of the screen, or open a record, the Left column will display all available actions in the selected module.

Left Column available functions include:

• Profile – This section allows you to configure and manage the following options:
  • Show Widget – Provides a drop-down menu with available widgets that display in the bottom center column. When you select a widget, it will display at the bottom of the center column with its associated information.
  • Create Widget – A pop-up menu appears with a drop-down menu of available widget types. Select one and click on Create to display the selected widget at the bottom of the center column with its associated information.
  • Edit Layout – Toggles a slider bar at the top of the two middle columns that allows you to adjust the width of the Dashboard columns.
  • BI Widget - Allows you to add additional pre-built BI widgets to your dashboard.

Dashboard Center Columns

When you select a widget using the Show Widget, Create Widget or BI Widget options, they are displayed on the dashboard’s two center columns. It’s also where the activity feed, accounts summary, and other available data widgets are displayed.

Dashboard Right Column

The far-right column of the Dashboard is reserved for the system widgets and can be displayed or hidden by using the toggle arrows (<>) in the upper right corner of the screen, at the end of the menu bar: they include system widgets clock, tag cloud, message board, and others.
