Products

Products allows you to record and manage your inventory of products or services. Record each product’s relevant information, such as price, inventory and description. By populating the Products module with your products and services, you can use them from within the quotes module to indicate the cost of a deal.

To access Products, click the Tool Box icon and go to Products:

NOTE: Only users with an 'Administrator' role can create new products.

To create a new Product:

1. In the Products screen, select the + icon in the left navigation.
2. The Create New Product screen appears. Complete the fields on the screen.
3. When finished, select Create in the top right corner. The Product View screen appears. From this screen you can:
   1. Upload associated images to the product page using the Image Gallery.
   2. Attach other files (as well as the images) by selecting Attach a File.
   3. Use the publisher to log a call associated with the product, schedule a new action, or add a comment for viewers of the product detail page to see within the Action widget.
      1. The Action History chart displays a timeline of associated events. When you create a new product, this chart is empty.

Import Products

The Products screen allows you to import using a .csv file directly into White Cup CRM. It is recommended that you perform an Export to save locally prior to importing. This provides you with the correct template. To import Products using a .csv file:

1. Within the Products screen, select Import Products under the Actions menu in the left navigation.
2. The Import Products from Template screen appears.
3. Select Browse to choose the .csv file you wish to upload. 
4. Continue the import steps as listed in the Import Records article.

Export Products

The Products screen allows you to run an export from White Cup CRM to a destination of your choice. To export:

1. Within the Tasks screen, select Export Products under the Actions menu.
2. The Export Products screen appears.
3. Continue the export steps as listed in the Export Records article.
