Processes in CRM help breakdown business workflows into successive stages to provide a summary of the records as they progress through the business process. You can use a Process to manage and keep track of your sales opportunities, marketing leads, internal business activities and other processes. Develop custom funnels and pipelines for your business to incorporate your unique methodologies into CRM to help your team easily see where they are in a process and help prevent missing an action item. Watch this video to learn more about common uses of Processes.
Funnel View
The Funnel View displays the total number of people that are in each stage. You can perform the following from this view:
- Select a stage by clicking the hyperlink, such as Open, to view a list of associated records in that stage.
- Set a custom date range or select a preexisting one from the Date Range options
- Select a Record Type or Add Criteria
- Run the process report by selecting Save. (Your filters will be saved for your view until you remove them.)
Pipeline View
The Pipeline view displays a visual forecast of all stages within your company. To use the Pipeline view:
- In the Processes screen, select the Process you wish to view.
- If the process Funnel View displays, under Actions in the left pane, select Pipeline View to switch views. (Then use the Funnel icon to return to the Funnel View as needed.)
- From here you can drag and drop contacts or deals to any stage across the process.
- Use the filter icon in the top right to add criteria to filter the view.
