Using the Viewpoint Survey in Sherpa

ViewPoint Survey: Customized survey questionnaire forms may be created within Sherpa by an Administrator (from the Administration tab) and made available to sales reps (in the Accounts tab) to assist in tracking all types of valuable account data throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to ongoing account management. The content of the questionnaires is tailored for each survey created. Reps can access any survey created in the system and have the option of printing a hard copy of the survey in Excel for note-taking prior to updating the data directly in Sherpa. Activities of multiple types are also tied to the surveys depending on which survey is selected.

Sales Rep use: The ViewPoint Survey features is available to all sales reps from the Accounts tab in Sherpa. There is a tab labeled Surveys on the bottom portion of the screen.

To create a new survey, click on the blue plus button to open a new window labeled Survey.

The sales rep must select from the available drop-down items in the Category list and then select the desired Survey from the next drop-down list. All information available here must first be created by an Administrator. Select Add to populate a new window containing the survey questions.

The survey answers do not have to be completed right away; you may simply select Submit to create the survey and may then return to the survey later to complete the answers to the survey questions.

Submitted surveys will appear in a list in the main screen of the Surveys tab, identifying the date the survey was built, the survey Title and who it has been updated by.

You may delete a survey by highlighting it then selecting the Delete button.

You may complete a survey’s questions at any time by highlighting the survey you would like to view then selecting the Edit button, or by double clicking on the survey to open it.

When selecting the Edit a survey, the survey questions will populate in a new window, containing additional options to Update (or complete) the survey questions, to create an Activity for the survey or to export to excel, select the bookmarked template to be populated.
