Sales Rep Daily Activities
The purpose of this document is to give users a general idea of daily duties within Compass Sherpa in order to best and most effectively use the product:
- Check for any available updates
- Open Activity List and complete any past due activities and any scheduled for today
- Review your Opportunities and Forecasts in Sales Stages and edit/update
- Create any activities that you have done that day on each account in the CRM area
- Save any emails you have sent or received that day on each account in Sherpa – If you have Outlook Sync turned on these will automatically save for you
- Maintain all classifications (i.e. sic codes & vertical markets), flag any accounts that need to be deleted or merged for your administrator to ensure data integrity and always put a note in the Account Notes box detailing why the account needs to be merged or deleted
- Update/add any accounts or contacts as needed and always check in the duplicate account search to identify accounts that may already be within the databases and outside of your assigned territory in order to avoid adding duplicate accounts.
- Use the Filter or Navigator reports to identify and work accounts with no activity, expiring leases or marketing campaigns
- Update any TCO’s for any specific accounts
- Review proposals from your proposal list and edit/update
- Save any newly generated proposals in the Documents tab and update any existing
