Eclipse and Prelude Hardware Configuration Guidelines (up through version 11.1.1)

Listed below are the MITS hardware configuration guidelines for the Eclipse and Prelude ERPs.  Each configuration level is based on the number of invoice lines over three years of data.

Operating System Requirements

The dedicated or virtualized server hosting MITS platform will require one of the following supported 64-bit operating systems.

• 64-bit Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 (including R2)

• 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 6, and 7

Multivalue Database Versions

• UniVerse

  9.3.1.1D or higher (Windows)
  (10.2.12-10.3.10 and 11.1.12 are not supported)

  9.3.1.1 or higher (Linux)
  (10.2.12-10.3.10 and 11.1.12 are not supported)

• Unidata

  6.1.19 or higher

  7.1.3 or higher (7.x below 7.1.3 are not supported)

Configuration 0

Designed for installations with less than 500K invoice detail line records over three years.

Standalone Server Requirements:

• 4 processor cores
• 2.20 GHz or faster
• 12 GB RAM
• 100 GB HD space (15K RPM SAS RAID 1)

Configuration 1

Designed for installations with less than one million invoice detail line records over three years.

Standalone Server Requirements:

• 4 processor cores
• 2.66 GHz or faster
• 16 GB RAM
• 150 GB HD space (15K RPM SAS 6Gbps drives required)

Configuration 2

Designed for installations with between one and three million invoice detail line records over three years.

Standalone Server Requirements:

• 4 processor cores
• 3 GHz or faster
• 32 GB RAM
• 350 GB HD space (RAID 10, SSD Drives required)

Configuration 3

Designed for installations with between three and five million invoice detail line records over three years.

Standalone Server Requirements:

• 8 processor cores
• 3 GHz or faster
• 64 GB RAM
• 500 GB HD space (RAID 10, SSD Drives required)

Configuration 4

Designed for installations with more than five million invoice detail line records over three years.
