The error MITS_Web_Terminated will sometimes show up in the status and build history of a hypercube. It will look like this on the scheduler:
When a build job shows this message, the cube is generally in an unusable state. Reports and dashboard objects based on the cube will not be available until the cube is returned to a usable state.
This message is caused by the MITS or Cube Builder services having been stopped in the middle of a cube build.
The two most common causes for this message are the server hosting MITS was rebooted or some outside action stopped the service itself. This could be someone logging into the server and stopping the service or a program such as antivirus causing the service to fail.
Click on the MITS Web Terminated message to see the log file. The last entry in the log will provide a rough timestamp (depending where in the build process the failure happened). Armed with that information, you can begin to check the server logs and other resources to see what outside action caused the service to stop.
To prevent this error from happening in the future, take steps to ensure the MITS and Cube Builder services are not interrupted during a build. This may mean rescheduling regular maintenance or reboots of the server or the times when backups of the system run that may attempt to pause services.
Should the error persist, check the dates and times of the MITS Web Terminated occurrences over the last 50 builds (shown in the Build History). This may present a pattern to help you find the root cause.
