Reports can be exported to either a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet or a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. An export can be initiated from the Actions column in the report library listing by clicking Export, or it can be initiated from within a report by clicking Export in the toolbar.
If the report you are exporting includes any multi-valued columns, two additional options will be available in the Export menu: Repeat Single Values and Do Not Repeat Single Values.
If Repeat Single Values is selected, the column cells in the single-valued columns that normally appear blank will be filled in by repeating the initial value for that set of multi-valued records.
If Do Not Repeat Single Values is selected, the report will be exported without repeating those values in the single-valued columns, which is how the report appears on your screen within MITS Report.
If you have been granted the necessary privileges by your MITS Report administrator, you can also choose to Update Report Source Data before Exporting Report. When this check box is selected prior to exporting, a Report Source update will be initiated right away and the report will be exported when the Report Source update is complete.
