There are five column state icons, which appear just below the column heading of any column that is being used to affect the output of the report. These icons are used to signify that sorting (), filtering (
), column breaks (
), totals (
), and/or averages (
) have been applied to that column.
For sorting and column breaks, a numeric value is included as a part of the icon to signify the order of precedence for the sorting or column breaks. For example, the column with the “1” sorting icon is being sorted first, followed by the column with the “2” sorting icon.
